About us
FDMC is a civil society organisation from Gračanica that aims to promote European values and European integration processes in Kosovo. It is an independent, non-profit organisation that promotes the development of civil society, human rights and communities on democratic foundations.
Who we are
FDMC is an independent, non-profit organisation based in Gračanica. We work actively with different ethnic communities, local institutions and the international community through participatory and consultative processes.
Founded on 18 May 2019.
Mission
We support youth development, strengthen civil society, protect human rights and build cooperation and trust between communities in Kosovo.
Vision
FDMC’s activities are aimed at strengthening the NGO sector – through technical support and information for local governments and citizens on networking, transparency, promotion, public-policy advocacy and coordination of NGOs in joint projects – through public information, dialogue and the reconciliation of communities in Kosovo.

- 2019
FDMC is founded (18 May 2019).
- 2019
The Civic Energy Centre opens in Gračanica (18 May) – FDMC manages the centre, initiated and funded by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS).
- 2020
FDMC submits input to the UN High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement (May) – on the life of displaced people in collective centres.
- 2026
The “ŠANSA” project on children’s rights starts with Save the Children Kosovo, supported by Sida. Cooperation memoranda with the municipalities of Ranilug (April) and Gračanica (October).
