Youth development
Young people in multiethnic communities often lack opportunities for non-formal learning, information about their rights and a say in decisions.
The problem and our approach
FDMC gives them knowledge, a space to talk and a chance to be heard – through workshops, events and programmes with schools, youth centres and partners.
Goals
- Empower young people with information about their rights
- Encourage youth participation in local decision-making
- Connect young people from different communities through joint activities
Activities
- Info sessions and workshops with children and young people on their rights (Ranilug, Gračanica Innovation Centre)
- Marking International Youth Day under the slogan “My Rights, My Voice, My Idea” (13 August 2026, together with the Gračanica Innovation Centre)
- Kahoot quizzes and anonymous online surveys in which young people share their needs and proposals with institutions
- Bridge Project (RIT Kosovo): English classes for high-school students as a shared language of interethnic cooperation – FDMC is the partner in Gračanica
