Gračanica Municipality and the non-governmental organisation Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration (FDMC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation that sets a framework for joint action to advance children’s rights and their position at local level. It was signed by the President of Gračanica Municipality, Novak Živić, and FDMC Executive Director Dejan Radivojević.
The cooperation covers
- Building the capacity of actors working on children’s rights
- Encouraging children’s participation in decision-making
- Other activities related to children’s development
The memorandum focuses in particular on the project FDMC implements in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo, with support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
