FDMC i Opština Ranilug potpisali Memorandum o razumevanju o unapređenju prava deteta

At a meeting between FDMC representatives from Gračanica and the President of Ranilug Municipality, Ms Tanja Aksić, the project “Advancing children’s rights and the self-reliance of vulnerable non-majority communities through strengthening civil society organisations, institutional capacity building and empowerment” was presented. It is implemented in partnership with the national office of Save the Children Kosovo and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

The project is grounded in children’s rights principles, in line with the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and is designed to promote the full realisation of children’s rights, with a special focus on the most vulnerable children and those at risk of exclusion.

A joint Memorandum of Understanding between FDMC and Ranilug Municipality was also signed by Executive Director Dejan Radivojević and Ranilug Municipality President Tanja Aksić. The memorandum sets a framework for cooperation on project activities aimed at strengthening children’s rights at the local level.
